What happens if the AED is used – do I need to replace anything?
Yes. After each use, the electrode pads must be replaced (available directly from Defib Store). The battery typically does not need immediate replacement after one use, but should be changed once it nears expiration. The device features a built-in alert system; you’ll hear a beep or see a visible indicator if the battery or pads require replacement, so you're never left guessing.

Can the cabinet overheat during summer?
No. The cabinet includes a thermostatically controlled heater that only activates when the temperature drops below 8°C; it doesn’t operate in warm conditions. In addition, the cabinet is built from UV-stabilised, ventilated polycarbonate, which resists heat build-up and sun damage, even in direct summer sunlight.
